Full & Partial Dentures
If you have been considering dentures but are worried about their reputation for looking fake or unnatural, it’s time to take another look! Today, dentures are individually crafted to consider your unique facial aesthetics.
At Baller Dental & Orthodontics at Southlands, we design full and partial removable dentures and state-of-the-art implant dentures for our Aurora patients. Our dentures not only enhance your smile, but are also designed to be comfortable and restore comfortable chewing function.
Types of Dentures We Offer
The design, fit, and comfort of dentures has changed, but the basic types available are still the same:
- For full tooth loss in an upper arch, lower arch, or both, our dentist would recommend full dentures.
- If you have partial tooth loss, we design partial dentures with artificial teeth that fill in the gaps and are secured to the remaining teeth with metal clasps.
Both full and partial dentures can be designed to be removable or paired with dental implants to hold them firmly in place.
Dentures as Unique as Your Lovely Smile
Dr. Holly Baller is as passionate about smile aesthetics as she is smile function. That means that every dental crown, bridge, and denture she designs is as unique as your one-of-a-kind smile.
When it’s time for dentures, Dr. Baller is a natural choice to achieve the most flattering, realistic results and a stable, comfortable fit. She loves working with her patients to plan and customize every detail of their dentures, from the shape, shade, and size of each artificial tooth to its position in the comfortable acrylic base.
Skilled lab technicians at a custom dental lab painstakingly craft your dentures down to the last detail so that they complement your facial contours, skin tone, and even your hair and eye color.
Implant Dentures: A Long-Term Tooth Replacement
We design removable dentures to be as beautiful, comfortable, and secure as possible, but they’re dentures with a tendency to move and shift. Denture adhesives help, but if you want complete confidence, pairing your custom dentures with dental implants affords you the hands-down most stable tooth replacement available in dentistry today.
Dr. Holly still designs the same beautiful dentures, but the process also includes placing 4-6 dental implants at certain points along your jaw. We customize your dentures to attach to the implants, and the result is replacement teeth that are as stable as healthy natural teeth and can only be removed by our dentist.
You can laugh, smile, and even sneeze with confidence because you know your dentures will stay put. Your body will thank you because you can eat crunchy fruits and vegetables again and maintain a healthier diet.
Which Type of Denture Is Right for You?
Missing teeth can be a daily drain on you, your confidence, and even your quality of life. We know you want more for yourself, and we want it for you too. Dr. Holly would be delighted to have the chance to meet with you at our Aurora dental office to explain all the exciting changes in modern tooth replacement.
